How to get reviews for your book
When it’s time to launch your book one of the best things you can do is have a host of reviews that validate why others should purchase your book.Here are the steps to take to get some reviews-Determine who your ideal audience is-Go to places they typically are and engage-Share your manuscript-Allow people to volunteer to give you a reviewIt is important to note that you CANNOT require a review just because you have a free copy of your book). In fact, amazon forbids that. Know that the review has to be voluntary. Know that because it’s voluntary most people won’t do it so consider giving it to quite a few people to make up for this. Some important notes for your book reviews: you cannot get family members to leave reviews amazon will recognize this.Also never try to force your reviewers with what to say. Allow them to share what they want. This is a chance to show you what you need to fix and also what they have to learn. Please note you cannot tell them what to write amazon also notices this. Sometimes people will write nice things and mean well but if the review doesn’t appear objective it will be removed.
