Change Your Mind Change Your Life

You may have heard the quote “change your thoughts and you’ll change your life”. But to be honest I didn’t buy into this. I mean how can our thoughts have that big of an impact on our life? But I decided to give it a try to see what all the hype was about. So I started making changes in my thinking, but it didn’t feel like anything was lasting until I hired a trainer. Funny thing is I hired a trainer with the idea that I would train my body not my mind, but through this experience, I learned to make subtle shifts that altered my thinking. In turn I started to see major shifts in my life!
There is an old saying that goes "a negative mind will never give you a positive life". Sometimes it can be hard to understand especially if you’ve tried to change your thoughts and haven’t seen a significant change in your life. Research says that you can “rewire” your brain by actively thinking positive thoughts and focusing your attention on the good things in your life. To sum it up you can rewire your brain through affirmations and gratitude. Which are two practices we should be incorporating into our day regularly.
