Stepping into your new identity to reach your goals

Your identity will either get you closer or further from your goals, the choice is yours.For this reason I am extremely passionate about identity work overall. Identity work refers to any situation where someone needs to modify their identity in relation to their goals.  When you think of your current goal what progress have you made with it? If you haven't made much progress that is likely because of the beliefs you have about the goal specifically and your relationship to it.The trouble most of us have is that we think of our current habits, thoughts and behaviors and normalize them. The bigger problem is most of the things we normalize are hurting us not helping us. Those patterns will not get you any closer to the big dream and goal you have for your life.What is the identity you need to step into that will get you closer to your BIG goal?Any new goal is going to require shifts and changes. So when you think of the identity of the person who has accomplished this goal what is it? Are they waking up early, are the scrolling social media, are they taking care of themselves by resting, eating healthy and moving their body etc.? All in all a new goal requires you to  make some sacrifices, change and increase consistency.So when you think of that BIG dream you have for your life I want you to consider who have to become to get there. What are you doing that is working in your favor? What are you doing that is not working in your favor? What do you need to believe about your goal?
