10X Your Success
Did you know if you write your goals you’re 10X more likely to follow through with them?
The Harvard business study was done in 1979 and found that over a ten year study 3% of the graduating class was more successful financially than the other 97% combined and it was because they had WRITTEN GOALS! This same study was said to have taken place in 1953 at Yale.
Writing your goals increases your success tremendously-not only does it tell you what to focus on it keeps you on track. It also gives you something to reflect on regularly. Think about it when you walk through the grocery store without a list how many things do you throw in your cart that you DONT need? How many things do you end up forgetting?
It’s the same with your goals.
Not only has there been proven success with writing down goals scientifically it makes complete sense. Our brain works by moving information from one part of our brain to the other in order to form the actual written words and it’s called encoding. Encoding is how the information coming from sensory input is changed into a form so it can be stored in the brain long term memory. This is why it’s better to physically write than type for your memory because it helps you retain and store the information much better and longer.
Research says that less than 8% of people have success with their goals and that’s because we are usually approaching the situation all wrong. They hope and wish for them but very rarely write them and take action
This is why you need to get clear on your goals, write them, and take intentional action. When we have a clear idea of what we want to accomplish taking the right action is so much easier and when you write it down you get to confront and change you process to align it with the success you desire and deserve.
So stop reading and go write your goals cuz when it’s written it’s real.
