How to launch your signature coaching offer

See this content in the original post

Launching a coaching program has many moving parts, and for most of us it can be overwhelming. Having the the right plan in place paired with believing and holding your vision, a launch can magnetize your dream clients, increase your business revenue, and decrease the overwhelm and exhaustion associated with launching.

Though launching is not the same as marketing, it's an important part of building your business. The choice you make about how to launch can have an impact on your success and your future launches. Here are some things to consider when deciding how to launch and what works for you and your business model.

Live launch

Let's start with the most popular launch: the live event.

A live event is an invitation-only, in-person gathering of your tribe to talk about whatever you want to talk about. You can do this with a small group or an enormous one (if you're feeling ambitious), but it will be more expensive than other types of launches because you'll need to rent space and hire staff (or outsource those tasks). Also, since the focus is on getting people together in real life, there's no way for them to buy your product online—they have to be there in person.

  • Pros: This approach allows you to connect deeply with your tribe members and share your story face-to-face. It’s also likely that someone who attends one of these events will become a customer down the line simply because they now know who/what/where/when about your business!

  • Cons: Because it costs money, time, and effort for everyone involved—and because some people may not be able to attend—the results might not match those promised by other types of launches (e.g., “You’ll get 500 new clients!").

Evergreen launch

  • A launch that is not time-limited. This is a launch that you set up to run indefinitely, with the option to add new products or content over time.

  • A launch with a recurring revenue component. This type of launch is designed to bring in recurring income for your business, and can be used as a lead generation tool as well as an ongoing revenue stream on its own.*

Simultaneous live and evergreen launch

Simultaneous live and evergreen launches are a great way to build your list. If you're trying to get people on your list, this is the best kind of launch for you.

Live launches are when you have a live webinar or teleclass that goes out at a specific time (usually with an email sequence in the lead up). This means that only those who sign up for your webinar or teleclass will be able to see it at that time. Evergreen launches are when you send out emails over time, which people can sign up for at any time.

Understanding the different types of launches can help you decide which way to go.

Live launches are great for physical products. Your audience can buy your product in real time, and you can sell it directly to them on the spot.

Evergreen launches are great for digital products: You set up a launch sequence that will continue to deliver new content to your list throughout the course of a few weeks or months. This is ideal if you're selling an informational product—you want people to feel like they're getting a lot of value from each purchase, so by giving them new materials in addition to what they originally bought, you give them more reasons (and excuses) to buy again later on down the line.

Simultaneous live and evergreen launches are also useful if you're offering both physical and digital versions of your product—they allow you to reach different kinds of customers who may prefer one format over another or who might be interested in purchasing both at once!

Next Steps

As you can see, there are many different types of launches to choose from. The key is to figure out which one works best for your situation and choose accordingly.Launching a coaching program is like running any new business—you have to do your homework first and make sure everything is set up for success! Here are some things you should consider if you're thinking about launching a coaching program:

With us moving into the New Year and the desire you have to get your offer out there and making 2023 the best year yet... I want to share some strategies that can help you to launch and increase your impact and income.

Here are my top tips...

1) Create a waitlist.

This lets you know who is interested AND will give you time and space to build up the hype around your offer. A waitlist strategy is a list of people who are interested in purchasing a product that is not currently available. People identify their interest in the product by signing up via email or phone number for the waitlist. When the product launches you then have a group of people to sell to. If you want to fill your coaching program every time you launch, using a waitlist strategy is the way to go.

2) Host a free workshop, challenge, or masterclass.

This gives people a chance to get in your energy and see what it would be like to work with you. If you give great value for FREE it makes it a no brainer for them to join you for paid. Hosting a FREE masterclass, challenge or workshop can be seriously beneficial to your brand. From showcasing your brand, to creating an opportunity to use experiential marketing to generating that much needed social proof that businesses thrive one, you will be setting yourself up for more success!

Here is an example of a FREE offer I host regularly to help you to Plan Your Profitable Coaching Program.

3) Sell a niched specific low ticket masterclass as an introductory offer. Similar to the free option, this is a little higher level that still gives your ideal clients a preview of what it's like to work with you. For example I sell The ELEVATE Your Coaching Sessions Bundle. This gives coaches they need to run a transformational coaching session before I support them at scaling to the next level inside of The ELEVATE Method.

4) Leverage your social media.

During your launching period it's important to switch your content to be more specific to what you are launching. For this you want to provide educational/value based content and stories that engage your audience, but also allow them to see what it is you're offering and why it's valuable for them. I also like to go live a lot online when I am launching. This allows others to get in my energy.

5) Share testimonials.

Testimonials are a great way to market your brand, product, or service to new customers. It allows people to view your brand from the perspective of people like them and instills more trust in potential customers. Testimonials are proof of what is possible for your future clients. It's expected for you to rant and rave about your offer, but when other people share their wins, and breakthroughs it can support your future clients to make a decision to join you.Bonus points if you go live with past clients to share about their experience. Live energy is extremely magnetic.

6) Develop an affiliate marketing plan.

This is a plan where you have certain people promote your offer. This could be former or current client or even part of your team. From there the affiliate earns a commission each time someone makes a purchase through the unique affiliate link associated with their recommendation. So the affiliate wins by sharing your offer and how it worked for them and making money in return. In addition, you win because you have multiple promotions happening at the same time.

7) And last but certainly not least. Align your mind.

Here is the thing, you could have strategies for days, but if your mind isn't aligned no hoping, wishing and strategizing can make it happen. So do your internal work to see the external results. I suggest tapping ,somatic embodiment hypnosis, TIME Goals etc. Committing to prioritizing your mind will help you step into the energy of where you’re going! These are all modalities we learn inside of The ELEVATE Method Coaching Certification Program.
