Stop Setting New Years Resolutions

How are your goals and resolutions coming along for this new year so far?

If it's not going to well don't beat yourself up.

Setting New Year’s resolutions has become something that is looked down upon lately. There are a lot of statistics and articles out there that say lots of people don’t achieve their New Year’s goals and that's for many different reasons. The reality is we often do not believe that we can achieve them. If you are like most people, if you don’t believe something will work for you, you aren’t likely to invest much energy in trying.

This is why the one-word concept was introduced. Instead of trying to set goals, resolutions or wishes you can choose to focus on one word. Just one single word. This one word could be your driving force for the year and can ultimately help you to build your character, resilience and your strength.

The neat thing about the one-word concept is that each year that you accomplish living out that one word, then the next year you add a word, and the year after that you add a word and before you know it you're truly building your character and becoming more of who you truly desire to be, which is better than any goal you could set.

Now I know we are three months into the year, but it is never to late to make changes. I challenge you to choose one word that you will stay grounded in for the remainder of this year.

Implementing the one-word concept into your life creates clarity, power, passion, purpose, and a total life change.

And you totally deserve that.
