How to Manifest Your Goals

About two months ago I set a business goal. Now this isn’t unusual as I always set goals. This time was different though. My goal was for a new program I created (that I hadn’t even mentioned to my audience). My plan was to get 5 new clients within 30 days.

Much to my surprise I accomplished the goal in a quarter of the time (7 days to be exact). Surprisingly it wasn’t because I had some written in stone plan.

*insert drum roll please *

It was because I set the intention and let it go... Now I know that’s very different than what most people would teach you to do because we always want to know the “how”.

But on my journey of studying success & manifestation my number one take away was - RELEASE 👏 THE 👏 HOW!

Not only that, I have learned from my own experience that many of the goals I hold tightly to are the ones I get most let down by. This is the very reason I stopped FORCING goals & started to flow with them instead. But let’s be real most people don’t really know the difference so lemme explain...

When you move from a place of force you may find yourself stuck, stagnant, disheartened & discouraged.

Anyone who knows anything about goals knows that changing the plan to get to the goal is a very real possibility. You may maintain the same overall goal, but the steps to get there can look totally different based on where you’re at in the moment, what you’re learning & what has shifted or changed.

The problem with forcing your goals is you’re operating with a one track mind and you’re only looking at the goal from one way. It’s literally a guaranteed recipe for throwing in the towel.

But on the flip side when you operate from a place of flow you allow new opportunities & blessings to come your way. New ideas, new paths & new successes can be birthed because you’re open & available to it. Flow let’s you get in touch with your creative side & to approach your goals with confidence knowing that success is inevitable.

When you’re setting a goal here are the steps to bringing it forward...

  1. Ask for it

  2. Believe God for the outcome (Matthew 7:7)

  3. Let go of the “how”/ surrender

  4. Take INSPIRED action

  5. Receive

Now to be honest all of these steps are pretty self explanatory. 1. Ask God for what you want- the Bible even says write the vision and make it plain (Habakkuk 2:2) 2. Truly believe that He heard you and is ready to answer you. Remember God wants to give you something way greater than you can even imagine. 4. Take action that aligns with what you desire and that you feel called or led to take. Do NOT take action for the sake of saying you did. Nor from a place of force. 5. Allow yourself to receive the blessing, after all you deserve it.

Notice I skipped step three above because letting go and surrendering is where we get hung up.

Surrendering is scary because it feels like you have no control and it may even feel like you’re giving up.

I can relate to that more than you know!

But it’s actually your attachment to the outcome that makes surrender seem next to impossible. The truth is surrender is actually what gives you the outcome you desire......

  • Surrender is much like planting a flower and giving it room to grow

  • Surrender is letting go of the personal will and aligning it to the divine will

  • Surrender is getting out of your own way to make room for God

  • Surrender is the ultimate test in TRUST.

  • Surrender creates an opportunity to fulfill your dream in a way that will satisfy you beyond what you can imagine

  • Surrender is opening up space for infinite possibilities

I know it’s easy to surrender to the small stuff and the things we aren’t really attached to, but when it comes to the things we desperately want it can be a challenge. While it requires discipline, consistency and commitment the results are so worth it!

In the end you can force your will or you can choose to surrender/let go of the “how” and release the expectations knowing that the outcome is far greater than what you can imagine

So how can you give yourself permission to flow with your goals?
