How to Remove Limiting Beliefs for Good

Earlier this week I heard a quote that goes as “What you believe you build what you doubt you delay.” And when I say I felt that I mean it.

Think about it when we believe in something wholeheartedly we work towards it. When we doubt we simply don’t put in the work. As hard as it is to understand it’s our beliefs that determine our success. For some people this is a good thing for most people not so much. Changing our beliefs is challenging but it’s imperative if we want to live the life we know we’re called to live.

Sadly we have adopted our limiting beliefs and accepted them as our reality. We normalize them.

Limiting beliefs happen when we are children from our experiences through observing people in their immediate environment- like our parents, siblings, and relatives.  As children we are much like a walking subconscious mind meaning we are taking in everything. Usually a single event is what we attribute and make our reality. Sadly these beliefs negatively influence your perceptions, define for you what is good, bad, true, real and possible, skew your perspective in positive or negative ways, limit the actions you take, shape your character, affect your relationships, and establish the journey you will follow .

The problem is these limiting beliefs negatively impact our life by:

  • define for you what is good, bad, true, real and possible

  • skewing your perspective in negative ways

  • limiting the actions you take

  • shaping your character

  • affecting your relationships

  • limiting the specific course you will follow 

Obviously limiting beliefs are not serving you!
