Organizing Your Goals

Envisioning your goal can feel exciting and scary at the same time. Trust me I get it I have a ton of big goals at any given second, but I have to be realistic with my time and my approach.

Seriously if you try to jam in starting a business, launching a podcast, and writing a book at the same time you’re not likely going to be able to give your best effort. This can cause frustration or even make you feel discouraged.I was that person for years I would rush from one goal and one accomplishment to the next without allowing myself to really feel grateful for it.

Now I choose to space my goals out knowing that I am always moving in the direction of my goals by taking it one goal at a time.In order to be intentional about taking more inspired action I always ask myself: What is the purpose that I desire to fill in that moment? And how does that relate to my big goal for my life.

Once I identify that goal that’s what I focus on.But I don’t give up on the other goals I have I chose to create a system so that those goals are always in the works.I take some time to layout each individual goal on an index card. Then I organize the index cards based on the dates that I would like to start working on the goal. The point is we want to be hyper focused on our goals and really give it our all. This can’t happen if we’re multitasking and if we try to do all the things. That’s the quickest route to confusion and overwhelm.
